NO MORE ACCESS!-WINDOWS MOBILE PHONE USERS WON'T ACCESS APPLICATION STORE
Microsoft has announced that going forth the Microsoft Windows Mobile
operating system based devices will face some new restrictions as far as
access to applications is concerned. The changes in the policy have
been made in order to simplify process for the users.
The changed policy means problem for the older version users of
Windows Mobile operating system as they will no longer be able to get
access to applications from the Microsoft application store. If you are a user of the older windows mobile version,all hope is not lost as you can upgrade the operating system to newer Windows
Phone operating system.
Microsoft claims that, in order to enable and improve security aspect of
the marketplace this is crucial that users upgrade their operating
system.maybe the fact is -they want more sales of their new mobile phones?.I sincerely think they are thinking more of business.
Users with older device can continue using the applications already
installed on their devices and the devices itself for as long as they
want but in future they will not get access to applications through
Microsoft, but yes as with other devices, third party stores are
expected to support these devices in the future as well.
At present users using Zune application for their devices can install
applications on their Windows mobile smartphones. However, in order to
further streamline the usage, appliication support form Zune has also been
removed.
Microsoft had come out with Windows Phone 7 in 2010 for its smartphones
to replace its older Windows Mobile operating system. The company has
recently also revealed its all new Windows 8 operating system which will
be released soon and is expected to be all-in-one operating system for
PCs, tablets and smartphones.They say that operating system is great,i can't wait to use it.
